Condensation Techniques - Part 2

I shall continue from where I left off last time. Particular topics I intend to cover in some detail are

peakword condensation and its uses to find submodule lattices (here we generalise from an idempotent e - satisfying vee = ve for all v in V - to a word w merely satisfying Vww = Vw),

direct condensation without writing down the permutations,

the trace equation and other methods of calculating character values directly from condensed modules.

The talk will of necessity be rather more technical than the first one.
