Computational methods in Incidence Geometry

In this talk, I will present a research project going on in Brussels
since 1990 in which we try to find a unified geometric interpretation
of all the finite simple groups. I will show some of the algorithms
we had to build in that context to convert geometric properties into
group theoretical questions. I will also give an update on the project
itself.
