Edgar Costa has been awarded the 2025 MIT Prize for Open Data from the MIT School of Science and MIT Libraries for his involvement in LMFDB, the L-Functions and modular forms database. The prize is selected from nominees representing 30 different departments, labs, centers and institutes across MIT.

The webserver is provisionally available again; further testing remains to be done.

Due to planned changes to the networking infrastructure of the University, the Magma webserver will be unavailable for at least three days and up to a week starting from October 31.

Due to electrical work in the building, the Magma webserver will be unavailable for around 72 hours covering the weekend of October 25th and 26th. UPDATE: Arrangements have been made to keep the webserver available during this time.
