Modular Symbols
New Features:
- A function IsTwist has been added, that determines whether
two given newforms (specified as spaces of modular symbols) are
twists of each other (by a Dirichlet character of p-power conductor,
for a given prime p). Also, the function IsMinimalTwist
determines whether a given newform is a twist of another one
with lower level.
- Several low-level functions for manipulating modular symbols have been
massively sped up by more careful coding. This mainly improves certain
operations on spaces with more than one Dirichlet character.
- Low-level functions ModularSymbolApply and ModularSymbolRepresention
can now be called at the user level.
