before ordering.

A personal version is made available at a greatly reduced price
(US$ 400; concessions may apply for residents of developing
countries).

The personal version is intended only for subscribers who are paying
with their personal funds and only for use on a machine owned by the
subscriber.
In particular, it is a breach of the conditions of the licence to
install the personal version on an institutional or company-owned machine.

Only payments by credit card can be accepted (Mastercard or Visa).

The personal subscription provides the following:

A version that includes all features.

Access to the complete set of Magma databases.

Full documentation in the form of both HTML and PDF documents.

Support and upgrades are provided for 3 years from the date of
creating the download account.

The personal version is available only for x86-compatible PCs running
Windows or Linux, or for Macintoshes running Mac OS X.

It is the responsibility of the licensee to take reasonable steps to
prevent copying (either manually or electronically) of the system by
unauthorised persons.

The software is supplied on an "As is basis".
There is no warranty express or implied for this software product.
The University of Sydney is not liable for failure of the software to
perform in the manner specified or for losses resulting from failure
of the software to perform as required.

A formal order is regarded as agreement to comply with these conditions.

The ordering procedure is as follows:

An applicant for a personal licence submits the accompanying
order form.

Receipt of the order form will be automatically acknowledged.
-
As soon as the credit card payment is accepted, instructions will be
forwarded for downloading the personal version from the Magma download
page.
